Victory English Fellowship Office Administrator Position

Victory English Fellowship is searching for a part-time
(20-28 hours a week) or full-time office administrator (40 hours a week). The office administrator is responsible for supporting the staff of VEF with communication, organization of information, and serving as a liaison between the Chinese and English sides of Victory. The office administrator reports to the VEF pastors and Victory’s administrative director. Please send resumes to vefpastor@gmail.com or contact Pastor John Olson for more information.

Responsibilities

1. Coordinate Co-workers Schedule (musicians, greeters, chair set-up, etc.)

2. Maintain VEF directories (Sunday school, new-comers, member, musicians, etc.)

3. Act as liaison between Victory Church and VEF

4. Update and maintain VEF website

5. Schedule use of church rooms

6. Create bulletins, pamphlets, and other promotional materials for VEF

7. Maintain VEF calendar        

8. Help plan and organize special events for VEF

9. Assist VEF staff with issues requiring fluency in Chinese

Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills
  • Bilingual (English and Chinese)
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to adhere to weekly deadlines
  • Proactive and ability to anticipate needs of VEF staff and church members

Expected Qualities

  • The church administrator is a visible representative of VEF, and therefore, is expected to have a lifestyle that honors and glorifies Christ
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Must have the ability to work with volunteers
  • Must be flexible and a creative thinker
  • Ability to listen to and communicate with people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Appropriate dress is expected for all occasions representing the church
